 dogs and ssscat November 18, 2008
I have 3 small dogs who like to roam into areas of the house they should not. When I leave the house, I activate the SSScat canisters in rooms where I don't want the dogs. Since using this product, I haven't found any "surprises" on the carpet when I return home.

I was very diapointed in this. I thought I was getting the full size spray but these are tiny and would not scare off a fly let alone my kitty from going where she should not. They are so small that the tops are to heavy for them and they tip over.

I bought this product because I was tired of my cats chewing up the wires for my electronics. The only thing this product did was scare the cats whenever I sprayed it because its very loud, but never did it keep the cats away from the sprayed area. The cans didn't even come with a nozzle for crying out loud, I had to rip off one from another can. And I have no idea what these other reviews are saying about sensors, all I bought was the cans. Do not waste your money by buying this.

We have owned four of these for about a year now, and I can say they WORK!! The cats really try to avoid them. One of them has figured out that if he can knock it over, it is not nearly as effective. We now have to find ways to keep it proped up.br / The only downside to the Ssscat system is the price of these spray cans. They do not have nearly 200 sprays, as claimed, and I have found each one of the sensor heads is different in its sensitivity.br / I am wondering if perhaps the heads leak some of the gas out over time, and that is why they seem to run out too soon. The cats test them occasionally, and when one runs out, they know it.br / All in all, the system works as advertised. If only the price of the cans were less!!

Ssscat is the first and only product I have found to keep my cats off the kitchen counter. I highly recommend it.
