Your'e SUPPOSED to SATURATE, and it works! November 16, 2008 We had a cat years ago who became elderly and had, shall we say, a "problem". She's since passed, and the new cat that's now four still repeats the error even though we removed the old carpeting and pads, as well as painting Kilz on the floor before putting the new carpet down. We've tried hundreds of dollars worth of products that didn't help and even gave us migraines from the smell of the chemicals. Nothing has worked- until now.br /There are those who complain about the tip of the bottle saturating the carpet- that is what the directions say to do. Spraying this product using another type of nozzle or bottle does not allow it to properly seep down into the underside of the threads and hit the tops of the padding beneath. If you do it by spraying what's meant to be saturated, the smell will eventually return especially when drawn out by heat or high temperatures. We learned the hard way because we, too, tried spraying it instead of saturating. The spray idea did come in handy when we treated the wooden baseboards (it was easier to make sure they were saturated and easier to control).br /Once we followed the manufacturer's directions properly, the smell has never returned. The current kitty is back to using her litter box (we still keep a close eye on her travels through the living room). Best of all, for those hypersensitive to smells, nobody got a migraine.br /The most popular "box store" in America sells the 32 ounce bottle for what you could buy two for on Amazon, so even with the shipping it makes more economical sense to choose an Amazon retailer.
This product actually works ! November 9, 2008 It's seldom that a product really does what it claims to do - but this one actually does.br /br /I used Kids n Pets on a number of old puppy urine stains, on a fairly new colored carpet (gold and black color). None of the other commercial products I had tried previously, had removed the large unsightly stains - some of them made them more prominent. br /br /I almost gave up, until I saw Kids n Pets in a local store and thought - what the heck lets try this one for good measure. I first tried in a corner of the closet to make sure the product didn't bleach or permanently stain the carpet - one never knows. After I found out it didn't, I soaked the stains thoroughly the next day. I used the whole bottle (I had some really big stains). I waited for one hours and then blotted them dry using a paper towels - a whole role of it. It was time-consuming, but well worth it. I stopped blotting when the paper towels weren't yellow and wet anymore. The next day I couldn't see the stains nor smell any urine.br /br /Two months later the stains are still gone and more importantly, they did not come back. With some of the other products the stains were initially gone, but showed up again a few days later. br /br /Bottom line - Kids n Pets works ! Now my puppy is house-trained, but if she ever has an accident again, I know what product to use. Knowing that Amazon has it is comforting, since most stores don't carry it regularly and I can order it if needed.br /
Best Pet Odor Remover October 26, 2008 This product really works when removing pet odor from your carpets. 6 months ago a cat who adopted me gave birth to four kittens. I photographed their birth and the days of growing into cathood. Along the way they had a few accidents on the capret when being sand boxed trained. This product I had used before became my best friend in the battle of strong cat odors. Now there is peace in the family as the cats are approaching 6 months old and will be "fixed" in November as their mother was 4 months ago. Ahhh peace in the family is a wonderful thing especillay when the air smells sweet due to Kids and Pets.
Miracle Odor/Stain Remover October 22, 2008 This stuff is nothing short of miraculous. I have a chihuahua that has never quite gotten over urinating in the house and luckily we don't have any carpet; however, we do have several area rugs. She has soiled all of them. They absolutely REEKED before I bought this stuff at Target. The smell is gone... gone!! I thought I was going to have to throw away all my rugs because it was stinking up my house. I have never raved about a product like this and will be telling everyone I know about it!
THIS IS THE MIRACLE PRODUCT September 27, 2008 This carpet stain removal product works miracles on pet stains before they become stains. I find no residue left behind when using as directed. I swear by it, and will use no other stain removal product on my carpets. The only down side is the squirt cap. A spray would be much easier to use.
