Disappointed   July 29, 2008 Unfortunately this didn't help my Pekingese after day 2. She stopped itching for a day and she does have less fleas, but by day 3 she's back to itching constantly. Bearing in mind that dogs' sense of smell is thousands of times more sensitive than humans', what must wearing that stuff be like for the poor dogs?br /br /Advantage does have a detectable scent, but it's not overpowering or super long-lasting and doesn't affect our allergy-prone family.br /br /We bathe our dogs 1-2 times monthly and apply it on the first of every month, after their baths, and when they've dried. Even with that second (or 3rd sometimes) per month bath, Advantage keeps on working (if the minimal amount of itching they do is any indication). We've used it successfully for years.
