Good Investment September 7, 2008 Love this product. I saw this item one day online, while looking for a new cat litter box, and came across this one. I decided to buy one to try it out on one of my three cats and see is she likes it. The day the box arrived my cats seemed really excited. I placed it in an area where my cats have never gone to the bathroom and instantly they all where checking out the new system. Well I ended up buying two more.
The easy of this product is great. All you do is clean the poop out everyday and take care of the pee a week later. The litter needs to be changed only once a month, which is nice.
Only bad thing is, the cats can tract this around a little. But this product is way better than regular clay litter, especially if you have allergies.
Buy the product..
Good in theory September 7, 2008 I have three cats, and I hate the constant scooping. I thought this would be a great option. However, one of my cats refused to use it. She peed on my bed, the laundry, anything but the Breeze system. After doing everything possible, I finally got out the old litter boxes. Although I still have the Breeze set up, three out of three cats still prefer the old litter to the Breeze. The problem with the Breeze is that it works against their instincts. They can't bury the poop with those meager pellets. Also, the pellets don't mask the scent, so you have to scoop almost immediately after they poo or risk a stinky house.
Good idea in theory. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me.
BEWARE! September 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased 2 of these systems for my 5 cats (we have 3 other litter boxes). One of my cats injested some of the litter pellets and has been in the veterinarian hospital in bad shape for the last 3 days. After xrays, and sedatives, enemas and iv fluids and blood tests, the vet removed 9 pellets, found a raging UTI and his kidney values are through the roof! I called the manufacturer to find out what was in the pellets and was told: zeolite, silica, cement, and polysomethingorother. Their website does not tell you that, just says no problem if your cat ingest - it'll will pass thru. Not so! I already have a vet bill in excess of $500 it is climbing because they have to keep him there!!
No more litter on the bottom of you feet!!! September 3, 2008 We got it and our cat immediately jumped in and used it. Our new kitten has taken to it fast too. You scoop way way less b/c you never scoop pee--only poop (which happens much less often). The pee goes through and the poop sits on top to be scooped. The pellets last so long and there is very little smell. The best part is that your cat stays in there less time trying to dig to China and you don't have litter all over your floors sticking to your feet. Wonderful product--don't recommend if your cat has regular diahreah though.
Best litter box I have ever had September 2, 2008 The best thing about this litter box is the ease with which one can change it. Instead of waiting and waiting (as my husband usually did with the old boxes!), the changing process takes about two minutes at most. It is neat. And because one does it more often, it does not smell bad. The litter does not really get tracked outside of the box. The scoop is hooked right onto the side of the box. The pads are absorbent enough if you change them once a week. My cat did not have any trouble getting used to the new format. I simply have to say this is a really, really good litter system. I do not think there is any need to pay a lot more for something technologically "advanced" (with mechanized parts, etc.). This works just great.
