Product Description The Perfect Bark technology combines both sound vibration and then uses a computer controlled microprocessor technology to analyze inputs. The result is a fool proof bark detection system, assuring the best possible anti-bark training. Eighteen total levels of correction: 3 selectable ranges which each have 6 automatically incrementing correction levels. On the first bark your dog gets the lowest, mildest correction. The corrections gently increase with each successive bark until your dog finds the level that is sufficient to discourage barking. Five-position rotary switch selects between ranges. Water-resistant collar adjusts for neck sizes 6-28 inches.

much quieter dog October 17, 2008 Our dog is a barker. Once he got used to it, he actually doesn't bark at the garbage truck! It is amazing how much better he is even without it. Mind you, when he doesn't have it on, he still does get to barking a bunch, but it seems that his barks are less frequent and does not continue for the whole 5 minutes that a person may be in view of the front of our house. One thing that we have really liked about it is that because it detects vibration AND sound, he can still groan and growl and make noises while playing with his sister without being shocked. The only problem we have with it is that if the electric part of it is not directly in front of his throat it does not seem to work very well. Also, I agree, the buckle is ridiculous! We have Petsafe fence collars and I can't see why they can't just use the same buckle. We have a piece of electrical tape over the metal part with the peg to go through the collar and then just unbuckle the plastic part.
anti bark coolar October 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Excellent. I resisted a shock collar for 3 years, now I kick myself for not getting it earlier. I thought it was cruel to shock my anxious, leash aggressive, 75 lb excessive barker, but after I tried everything thing else, I gave in. He got shocked a couple of times and has now stopped. In fact, he's almost relaxed now in situations that used to set him off. He still will bark without the collar, but even then, he doesn't get set off so easily.
Best $ ever spent, seriously October 3, 2008 We have two new puppies, now 6 mo old, that have been driving our neighbors, passing golfers and dog-walkers totally crazy with their non-stop barking. We went in search of help, and seeing all the positive reviews of this product, we bought two and crossed our fingers. The result is truly miraculous... The puppies learned within a day that they could only bark once before getting the static zing! Best money we've ever spent on an Amazon product.
Works like a charm! September 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We have used this for the past month on our 45 lb. Wheaton Terrier and it has been a God-send. He learned really quick not to bark when the collar is on. However, he still barks when it's off. Only complaint is that the buckle is pretty flimsy. A bit of advice: Make sure the collar is on tightly!
Limited use September 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't know if my dogs are too smart or too dumb but this product only has limited use for us. It does work in the sense that while they are wearing it they don't bark. As soon as you take it off and a noise comes from behind the fence or someone walks by out front, they are back to barking their heads off. They have only learned not to bark while the collars are actually on. I can't leave this thing on them 24/7. I have tried this shock collar and the citrus spray collars with exactly the same results. One of my dogs is a border collie and the other an australian shepherd. I will have to research other methods of bark control and not leave it to devices.
