We use as a seat belt and also a harness sometimes when walking the dog. Takes some practice to get used to which straps go where. The S/M size is adjustable and has fit our dog from the time she was a 20 lb puppy to a now overweight 35 lb dog. Much better deal than what you can find in most pet stores, and does the job. Problematic   July 29, 2008 The designer seems to have forgotten that dogs like to turn around once or twice before they lie down, thus tangling the harness.
