Product Description The most revolutionary retractable leash on the market today. Fits nicely in the palm of your hand. Ergonomic, strong and sleek, Zip even fits in your back pocket, so you can free yourself for more important things - like ball tossing.

great idea but now Chewproof November 17, 2008 so, the product is great, i love the idea of handholding the lock. however, the dog just chew the rope in like 5 min... so... i hope that the rope is much stronger. br /solution after it got chewed up is that, i attached a chewproof rope to the planet dog zip lead. and wallaaaa it work just like before but this time she won't be able to get away so easily by chewing. br /
Okay lead September 8, 2008 The small, fit in your palm lead seemed like a good idea when I bought it. However, I find it akward to hold - keeping my hand closed around the zip housing takes a bit getting use to - I'm use to the more traditional bigger retractables where my hand grips a 'handle'. It's not comfortable to put my hand thru the loop and let it hang. The locking mechanism isn't very consistent - doesn't lock every time- so I don't feel confident walking my dog when I need to keep a short lead. I won't purchase this product in the future.
Nice design, but not strong enough September 6, 2008 I loved this lead when I first got it 4 months ago. It's small, ergonomic, and just plain looks good. The nice design did not live up to its looks, though. Only 3.5 months later, my puppy (now 8 months, and 43 pounds) broke the lead. br /br /Bottom line is that if you have a well trained dog that never pulls on the lead, this will be a fabulous product. If your dog is still learning (as mine is) how to behave properly on the lead, or if your dog pulls at all, this is probably not the best product to buy.
GREAT DOG LEASH August 17, 2008 This is a great leash for a small dog. It is comfortable to wear on the wrist and is small and lightweight. Very easy to use.
Love this! August 13, 2008 I ordered this because I got tired of constantly untangling the leash from my dogs legs. I have a 12 foot flexi but its hard to hold onto. The ziplead is easy to hold, easy to operate, doesn't rattle like the standard flexis. This is a good every day leash.
