Best cone ever! November 14, 2008
The Comfy Cone lives up to all its promises. After our dog had some minor surgery we felt terrible with her in the rigis plastic e-collar. She looked miserable and clearly hated it. We found the Comfy Cone in a local feed store, and what a godsend. It keeps its shape enough to prevent licking her stitches or scratching her face, yet it's flexible enough to sleep in and maneuver around the house. She's still not a fan of wearing a cone, but the Comfy Cone is a great solution when cone-wearing is necessary. I highly recommend this product.
Excellent Product Even for Non-Sick Dogs September 26, 2008
Our dog is obsessed with licking her feet. She's had several vets examine her feet. No sores, no allergies, no abrasions, no toenail problems, no ear problems. She has a busy life but still spends time licking her feet when she has "down time". We could not take the noise and the obsession anymore so put on the comfy cone when we are home supervising her. It works like a charm. No more feet licking and she sleeps easily with it on - strangely enough, it even soothes her to sleep with its presence. The black cone blends nicely with her black hair and she looks like she's wearing a prarie bonnet, so it looks cute, not something to feel bad about.br /br /I shied away from a collar for a long time because I only had seen the hard plastic ones. The comfy cone, is indeed what it claims to be "comfy."
great alternative to Elizabethan collar August 12, 2008

After my puppy got spayed, she was given the plastic Elizabethan collar from the vet which did work preventing her from chewing at and licking the wound but she kept crashing into the furniture in crowded areas of the house and had difficulty picking up her toys. The comfy cone is soft and she doesn't resist when we put it on her.
