3 out of 5 stars Twist and Treat   January 6, 2009
These are great toys but they run out of treats too fast. The best thing to do is put some yogurt or honey mixed with your treats and freeze them.

5 out of 5 stars Favorite way to play and eat   January 6, 2009
My bichon lost his original Twist and Treat while on vacation. He is a powerful chewer, but never did chew this toy up. He got it as a pup and learned that it would drop his kibble if he knocked it around. It became a favorite way for him to eat. I don't know why other reviews are so negative because my dog LOVES his so we had to replace the lost one right away. He has fun knocking out the kibble and sniffing around for any he may have missed. Great toy!

4 out of 5 stars Great for Non-Power Chewers   December 27, 2008
The other reviews stating that this product is not for power chewers are probably correct; fortunately, I have a lazy corgi mix with an overbite. She likes the challenge of rolling around an irregular shaped object that magically dispenses treats without the added stress of expending the energy to gnaw through something. There are other treat dispensers out there, but what sets this one apart is that you can unscrew the toy for cleaning. As someone without a dishwasher this is a real help. Also the size of the treat dispensing holes can be adjusted so that nearly any size treat can create a challenge - or not. br /br /My only complaint is that after around 5 or 6 months the threads on the twist part of the twist n treat get a little mushy and it becomes impossible to screw it as tightly. For that I have deducted one star. With a medium size available for under $10, I am happy to repurchase once or twice a year.

1 out of 5 stars Not as good as I was hoping for   December 14, 2008
I was hoping that this toy would survive a dog who likes to chew, but 2 hours later it was in pieces. So, if you have a dog that chews, choose something else.

2 out of 5 stars not very durable   November 15, 2008
I bought this toy for my dog and it only lasted 2 days. It works great for entertaining them with treats but if you have an active chewer it will not stand up to them. my dog was able to chew it enough that treats no longer stay inside at all.
