Product Description Guaranteed to reduce shedding better than any brush or comb. Reduces shedding up to 90%. Brings out the pets natural oils, leaving a shiny and healthy coat. Also removes dander that causes allergies. Dramatically reduces feline hairballs. The unique stainless steel edge grabs the texture of the undercoat & loose dead hair and removes it while gliding through and not damaging the topcoat. Works great on all shedding dogs & cats, long & short hair.

FURminator September 7, 2008
A little pricy but works great. Hesitated to buy, But glad I did. It is a substancial tool and should last a long time. Highly reccomend. Best price on amazon.
Finally, my dogs enjoy being groomed September 7, 2008 Trying to keep both of my 50+ lb dogs groomed has always been a nasty chore. These two drop almost a garbage bag full of shed hair every week but balk and fight to get away from normal dog brushes and curry combs. My parents had the furminator and I saw that their dog loved being brushed. I splurged on the largest size for my two dogs. The results have been amazing: they sit still and let me remove clumps of hair that would normally fall on the kitchen floor. After a few minutes of brushing out the chunks of loose hair on my German Shepherd, the Furminator seems to do almost a razor cut on what looks like smooth hair. It removes all the loose stuff down beneath the coat and makes her look like a show dog. Definitely one of my best investments for my dog ever.
A must have! September 7, 2008 We had tried the Shed-Ender which was terrible, an awful waste-of-money. A guy up the street had recommended the FURminator, and I found it cheap here on Amazon, but it certainlt would be worth twice the price!!! Works bloody well on my long-haired terrier mix. My short haired pit doesn't like it too much (he's a bit precious), but it takes off his undercoat like no brush ever seen! A true find!!!!
Fabulous! September 6, 2008 When my sister recommended that I buy a Furminator to deshed my two Siberian Huskies, I never believed that it could do better than my old wire dog brush. However, the Furminator is fantastic -- and better than anything I've ever used! You just use it like a brush, but it gets out tons of underfur. Two recommendations -- if you have big hairy dogs, you might go outside on your first use. It gets out SO much fur that you might not want to be in your house on the first use. Second, if you have a big dog, get the 4-inch FURminator. It is a really terrific tool!
aliceupnorth September 6, 2008 So far, it really removes the hair. My Golden, Bailey, does not seem to like it much so I have to be more careful when I'm brushing her.
