Product Description Floating dock is the perfect basking spot for your aquatic turtles, newts, or frogs. The unique self-leveling feature automatically adjust to all water levels. The hanger attaches to the side of your tank with four suction cups and the ramp floats up and down on the hanger. The submerged ramp allows pets easy access to a dry area. Works as advertised August 13, 2008 May not be pretty as my 4 year old put it, but it looks like the picture and works as stated. I do have a very small turtle though I added weights to my dock and it will hold 1 lb 5 oz up out of the water before sinking under.br /br / Had the grainy sand stuff but rinsed it off before putting in the tank (who would not wash something new before exposing there animals to it any way?). No scrubbing as it is foam afterall. I like it, my kid's turtle likes it, and it is as advertised so thumbs up.br /br / I also think it is great ZooMed provides products I can afford that work. I also use their turtle filter.
My turtles love it July 5, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My turtles have grown since I purchased their original turtle dock. They were getting so large that they sunk the old turtle dock (small), so I knew I needed a larger one. The product is just what my turtles needed so that they can come out of the water to bask. The only odd thing is that when it arrived (in its original packaging) it was kind of oily and sandy feeling, but I just washed it off.
