Soft Claws Nail Caps are a simple alternative to declawing when pet scratching is a problem. They are easy to apply and are perfect for cats of all ages. Soft Claws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of your cats claws. When applied to front paws, they reduce the potential for damage due to our cat's natural clawing and sharpening behavior. Kit contains: 40 nail caps, 2 tubes adhesive and glue applicator. Sizes: Kitten, Small, Medium and Large and in color choices of purple, pink, clear, blue and red. Kitten comes in clear only. Most average size cats wear medium. If your cat is very small boned, choose the small size. Very large boned cats tend towards large. Kittens ususally are big enough to wear soft claws by 12 - 16 weeks of age. Directions: To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove. The nail caps can also be trimmed to fit if needed. Very large boned, large breeds and cats 14+ pounds in weight generally fit into the large size. Maine Coons are an example of a very large cat and will generally wear large.
