Customer Reviews:
Good product with a weak collar October 10, 2008 The actual spray portion of the system is very good and effective with our 5 year old Lhasa Apso, however he was able to tear through the collar which we had to replace with a leather one. All in all a good product and well worth the packaged purchase .
Multivet Anti Bark Citronella Spray Dog Collar September 29, 2008 At first I could really tell a difference but now our morky seems use it and still barks and now my house smells like we are camping. It has an on/off switch which is nice but I would recommend a similar product that has a remote control. This way you can train him/her not to bark at certain times versus not being able to bark at all. Our dog (Max) seems confused by this and when we turn off the devise he knows it and starts to bark almost instantly.
wow! April 19, 2008 We have a small dog (sheepoo) and she just yaks and yaks as soon as she is let out the front door to do her business or to just sit on the front porch. It drives everybody crazy. We didn't want to use the zapper type collar becasue we thought that for a small dog it seemed mean (we actually tried our neighbours zapper collar) plus when I did some research on those collars, I didn't read many positive feedbacks. We tried the citronella collar and it has stopped her from barking when she is outside and it is just wonderful. I can't say that it has trained her because she will still do her barking frenzy if she realizes she's not wearing it but we are so happy that now we can let her out to do her business at midnight and she dosen't wake up the neighbourhood.
Multivet Anti bark takes some work to figure out September 10, 2007 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
When I first received this product, I was disappointed it had no instructions. It was basically a trial and error learning experience. I did call the customer service line which called me two days later, but by then I had figured it out. I had to change the battery that came in the package to the refill battery and then it worked. I'm not sure it has really worked on my dog, but it seemed almost cruel for her to wear it. She weighs 10 pounds and it looked like it was this heavy weight on her neck. I think what we really need is a muzzle that looks like it belongs to Hannibal Lector (sp?).
