I think my cat does notice when I've sprayed her toys and scratching posts and mats with this, but she doesn't display the same joyous playfulness that she does when I rub the leaf kind of catnip on her things. Better to stick with the regular leaf type in the tub.

This spray is awesome. I was afraid my catnip specialists wouldn't like it from a spray, that the spray might be somehow distinguishable to them from regular catnip (I have really picky cats), I was pleasantly surprised though. The spray was very well recieved and the cats went nuts and we had to put the bottle away. The only thing they don't like about it is the hiss from the canister when you spray it but I just spray their toys and scratching posts when they aren't in the room now. Excellent product my cats and I happily endorse it!
