This powerful training system is capable of reaching the leader of the pack with its 2 MILE range. The transmitter uses commonly sold 9-volt batteries (Approximate battery life will be 6-12 months, depending upon frequency of use), the receiver uses rechargeable NiMH batteries that give 40-80operating hours between charges (varies by use). Both units are waterproof /submersible and have low battery indicators. Collar strap is adjustable from 7" to 23.5". Youll quickly get a handle on the newly designed 'pistol grip' of the transmitter that also has a set of Glow-GripTM replacement handles included. This trainer was designed with Hounds in mind, but is a perfect solution for other sporting dog breeds as well. This SportDog Shock Collar is expandable up to four dogs by purchasing SportDOG Add-A-DogTM Receivers. Eight levels of correction (continuous or momentary) and 2 training modes are available to customize your transmitter so that you can train your dog as needed.
