Product Description Give your dog lots of freedom on your daily walks while maintaining control with this Flexi retractable leash. When you release the break button, your dog can run up to 26' ahead to sniff and scratch to his heart's content. If another dog is approaching, you're about to cross the street or you simply want to rein Puppy in, hold down the break and the lead will retract. Lightweight and water resistant and you'll never have to touch the leash cord. Imported.

Well-meaning customer service; wrong item December 12, 2008 I ordered the tape leash because I have had a few bad experiences with the cord on these retractable leashes. The first leash that arrived was the right length and color. It arrived earlier than predicted. It was not a tape leash, but, rather, a cord leash. I wrote to Amazon. I was initially told to return the cord leash and they would send me a tape leash. A second Amazon person, a supervisor, I believe, wrote and told me to keep the first leash. They would send me the tape leash, basically, for free. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The second leash also arrived a day earlier than promised and was the right color and right length. Unfortunately, it also was a cord leash. At that point, I called Target, the store which, according to the website of Amazon, was the source. They told me that they haven't sold tape leashes (at the long length I required) for several years. So, now I have two leashes, figuring I will use the second when the first one inevitably breaks.
Long little leash November 26, 2008 My mini-schnauzer pup was expected to be 8-10 lbs but the day she was born, I quickly realized she wouldn't even get that big. At 6 months and just barely 6 lbs, I needed a leash that would give her enough leash to play but something light enough it wouldn't weigh her down or tire her out just walking around the park.br /br /This flexilead did the trick and while it occasionally won't reel in since there isn't much weight to it, I've yet to find any other leads/collars more suited to a dog her size.
Great retractable leash September 7, 2008 This leash is perfect for my 105 lbs. dog. The mechanical stops are strong enough to stop him at a full speed run. I highly suggest this product.
NOT tape leash August 20, 2008 Same problem as Bobo's still going on with Target. It is NOT a tape leash, it is a cord leash. They shipped me a cord leash twice, finally figured out they do not have the item advertised and refunded all my money. They also told me to keep/discard the cord leash, so I'll give them credit for that.
Good Sturdy Walking Leash June 30, 2008 Finn was looking for a longer leash and more leeway. I looked for a leash that would handle a 60 lb young energetic dog, We both found what we looked for. Good sturdy walking leash.
