Product Description Large, Black, Extreme Dog Toy, Ultra Strong Black Rubber Compound Is Recommended For Power Chewers, Stuffable Treat Dispensing Toy, Supervised Use Is Recommended For Power Chewers.
Amazon.com Review Used by police, drug enforcement teams, and the military for training working dogs, this super-tough toy stands up to jaws of steel. Even if your dog's job rarely takes him off the couch, the Kong Extreme's goofy, unpredictable bounce makes for hours of chasing and fetching fun--just the thing for animals whose life in the wild consists of tracking, killing, chewing, and then doing the same thing all over again. When you're away, simply stuff the hollow interior with treats or gooey peanut butter, and extracting the contents becomes a "hunt" to keep any pooch happy and busy all workday long. Chewing Kongs helps promote strong jaws, clean teeth, and general oral health. Even aggressive "power chewers" will find it hard to bite through carbon-formula Ultra Flex, and dogs with separation anxiety or problem behaviors like barking and digging will especially benefit from the mental and physical stimulation. p Kongs are made in the USA from a thick, flexible rubber that's non-toxic, non-splintering, and puncture-resistant. This black Kong Extreme is appropriate for medium- to large-sized aggressive chewers, including smaller Labs and golden retrievers. Supervised play is highly recommended, especially when first giving a Kong toy to your dog. Regularly inspect the Kong for cracks or missing chunks, and replace worn or damaged toys to avoid a choking hazard. Satisfaction is guaranteed; if either you or your dog aren't happy with your purchase, return within 30 days for a full refund. I--Mary Park/I

Better off with Large bone January 3, 2009 Our two year old lab had this thing chewed up in less than 45 minutes. A large bone will last just as long, plus your dog won't swallow the small rubber pieces that it chews up.
Kong Extreme Dog Toy December 27, 2008 I purchased 2 Kong toys for my medium large labradors. They both like the toys and play with it as long as there are treats inside. Once they get the treats out they stop playing with it. The rubber is really hard so I doubt they'll be able to chew it up. I think this is a really good product and it helps keep the dogs busy when we are away.
kong chew review December 16, 2008 diesel dog loves kong chew toys--they provide him with a challange entertainment--he's an aggressive chewer these are the only products that last more than 1 day--i highly recommend kong products to anyone who has a cat or a dog

Great product. I use these to feed my dog. I put her food in with a little peanut butter. It was recommended to me by her trainer and it works great! It slows her eating down and it helps her mental skills. These are wonderful as she is a chewer and they are quite indestructible.br /br /Also, I always have an extra Kong with peanut butter kept in the freezer which I give her if I'll be gone for a while. It keeps her mentally stimulated while receiving a treat at the same time.
Review of XL Kong November 11, 2008 An appropriately sized Kong is a must have for any dog owner. Our dog differentiates her Kong by name and carries it from her crate to the kitchen for reloading in the morning. The Extreme XL is perfect for our smaller lab (65lbs) and it holds about a half cup of food. When she was about 1 she was able to chew the edge of the opening off, we replaced that one 3 months ago and the new one is fine so far.br /br /Good luckbr /
