OK #1 St. Bernard - not just because one lives here but because they are just sooo HUGE! BIG DOGS are AWSOME!
#2 German Shepard - because that's the first dog we ever had when I was little and that dog loved me as much as I loved him.
#3 man this is hard...I'm eliminating so many wonderful breeds....
uh.....gotta go with the beagle. THREE CHEERS for SNOOPY!

It was going to be top 5, but I couldn't deside! I love them all!

My three favorite breeds are
1.West Siberian Laika
2.Saluki
3. Airedale Terrier

1. Chow Chow---I have had great luck with them. Each has been sweet and they look like a little bear, but they need consistent motivational training.

2. Tibetan Spaniel. I have wanted one for a while, I like smaller dogs that are both affectionate and independent.

3. Australian Kelpie/German Shepherds. They are obedient and good natured.

1. Standard Poodle. What's not to love? They are smart, affectionate, athletic, goofballs and gorgeous dogs so long as they don't have that ridiculous haircut.

2. Doberman Pincher. If my husband hadn't had his heart set on a poodle, I would have absolutely gotten another Dobie.

3. Irish Wolfhound. I've only met one, but who can resist a 200lb dog who gets weak in the knees for a banana?
