Default the origin of the chihuahua?
any one know the history on these dogs?
..the origin of where they came from, and why they were bred that size?

I have a pretty chihuahua and her cute name is Butter. I don't really know much about them though. What I do know is that they are nice companion and they're originally from Mexico.

You can find out about the origin of the breed, temperament & everything at Chihuahua, Chihuahuas, Taco Bell Dog This page says they originated in China. Hope this helps.
