It depends, where you live and how do you want to use your dog. Wolf hybrids of first generation inherit worst qualities of wolf as pet: they are very shy of everything new, do not like overcrowded by unfamiliar people and dogs places and are potentially dangerous to farm animals. They are worthless as guard dogs. I would keep a wolf hybrid, if I had a house on a large piece of land and had neighbors with large acreage of land without small farm animals.
Wolf's behavioral complex is designed for survival on his own, not for serving any human. Wolf hybrid makes a good friend and companion, but he is always on alert and would run, if frightened and reasons, which frighten ,him are many.
