Default Adopting a dog

Hello:

My husband and I are interested in adopting a flat coat retriever however the breeders that I speak to only have littler available in the fall.
Is there a difference between spring litter and fall litter? I remember hearing something about temperament in fall litter.
Help... can someone clear this up for me :?:

I own a dog whose has a itty bitty bit of Flat-Coated Retriever in him but he's usually considered as a Lab since that's mostly what he looks like.

I can't see how there would be any difference in a litter born in the spring to a litter born in autumn...

My friend has a FCR called Dylan, he's a gorgeous dog.

I wonder if that would be a doggie horoscope thing?

I doubt that the time of the year of the whelping would have an impact on tempermant. Parents, genetics and overall individuality govern that aspect of a puppy's personality.
