expertise?? breed of my dog?
Hey guys
New to this forum.....and i've been looking at lots of cool dogs for the last hour or two. My dog is about 4 years old, and I always thought the dominant breeds would become obvious later is his life. He can be hyper, but is very loving, and treats all house guests as new friends. One seems very obvious, but I just can't figure out the rest.
Any thoughts on the mix??? Thanks a lot!
I love him the same either way, but I guess its like wanting to know about your adoptive son's biological parents. Please check out the site below, that has the pictures on it. I'm not computer literate, so i couldnt' paste them.

I found your site, he looks like he does have black lab in him. From my exsperiance with them, they are really hyper and loving animals. Very beautiful boy though.

interesting
Definitely agree that my dog looks extremely similar to the second dog, but not so much the first dog. Are you sure that the second dog is a lab/pit? I have just seen so many pictures of labs mixed with other dogs, and so many of them look very similar to your second picture, not just pits.

I'm positive. I have both of the parents. Both of those pups are from the same litter. They're almost 1yr now. Those are the most recent pics I have of them. Here are the parents:

Spike, the dad (Pit Bull/Lab)

Star, the mom (Pit Bull)

i see
well, no doubt the face on that second dog looks as close to identical to my dog as is possible. I see some of that AST in the top of his head, but his mouth is just so long and jaws are thin and weak. I suppose he maybe just inherited more of the lab genes than the AST genes. I don't know. I'm looking at google images pictures of dog breeds, and when it comes to mixes of labs with other dogs, there's one of every mix that looks like him. I just dunno
I really like your dogs a lot though

I don't think the jaws of your dog look thin & weak. I know the ones on the dog in the pic aren't. But the pic doesn't really show them well. I can definately see pit bull in your dog...I'm around them all the time. It has the cheeks of one & the ears. But I can also sorta see the Lab.

mixed breeds can be so hard to pick cause my dog is a hunterway dobbie X but some days he looks like he has setter in him other days he looks like a greyhound :-) I think the joy of a mixed dog you can decide it's breed to suit you
