Hi,
I'm new to the board. My dog Sierra is 3 1/2 years old and we've had her for 3 years. She's a wonderful dog... she's smart, she's loyal (follows us around all the time), loves to play but doesn't get annoying about it if you dont' want to, loves to run (I take her jogging with me), loves to play with other dogs, not aggressive (she's the passive, roll-over type), very reliable off leash (stays right beside you and comes on recall), great at agility, protective nature (barks at doorbell), very loveable (she loves to lean right against you), very obedient, never chews anything... anyway, a great dog. But, we have no clue what type of dog she is and people ask us ALL THE TIME. Plus, we love her so much, if we ever got another dog, we'd of course want to try for similar breed. She's a dog we got at a rescue shelter so definitely a mix of something. We just don't know what. We think some type of hound (from the bark) but I've no idea where the ears come from or the coloring or build. She's yellow with some white. She's about 50 lbs. but very lean.

I have no clue!! Until I read how much she weighed, I thought chihuahua (sp?)
Love the ears, her name should have been Radar or something like that!! LOL
Your pics came out really small, so maybe that can make me not see.

What is her weight? What is her height? Those pictures are very small, but judging by the last one, which I can see () she looks like a Chihuahua/Whippet. The ears represent Chihuahua, and the body and the description you gave of her represents a Whippet. She is beautiful!

Here, I've posted more pictures that should be better. Look under my name in the photos and you'll see them. She's a medium size dog, weighs about 50 lbs. I don't know exact height but she's not small. I know she's not a chihuahua. Don't know much about whippets. From searching online, I've found information about carolina dogs/american dingos. I think maybe this is what she is. Anyone heard of these or know more info about them?
