Question In Heat??

Hi. I know this is going to sound like a very stupid question(especially since I have some experience with breeding) but.....I have a 2 yr old Boxer that I adopted about 2 months ago. She looked like she was starting to come into heat. I put her with my stud at the time and she only irritated him (she's a very energetic dog and he's more laid back). I got a new stud so I switched them. She gets along very well with this one but he does not seem to be interested in her ina ny way other than to play. She seems slightly swollen with no noticable bleeding or discharge of any kind(Boxers are very clean though and I rarely see any in any of my females) It has been at least a month now that I thought "well maybe". Then I read a few things about "silent heat"?? Never had heard of that one. What do ya'll think? Could it just be taking her longer to get to the "swelling/bleeding" stage? Your input is appreciated. Thx.

OMG that totally happened with my older Boxer.... I always daily check on them of course and honestly she did not even seem to have been going into heat AT ALL.... I saw no blood.... no swelling.... I swear yesterday we were looking at her and she looked completely normal and no swelling at all and this morning she had 7 Pups....
I could not belive it....

But to answer your question..... YES there are silent heats cause my Boxer NEVER showed any signs..... and now we have 7 babies

If you adopted her you shouldn't be breeding her, she shouls have been spayed before going into your home, or when you were adopting her you should have signed a contract to have her spayed
