Hey you guys I also want to talk about the dobermanbreed i am a high school student taking a small animal care class. and i have a project comming up on yhe 27 and i cant find out any thing about the doberman breed that i need i am taking in a german shepard and doberman mix and i have found out everything that i need to know about the sheperd but NOTHING ON THE DOBERMAN!! IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad use to have a Doberman named Star when I was younger. I have always known these dogs to act very nervouse. I also have a friend who has two of them and they act the same way. It seems like they dont care for loud noises or to much going on. I dont know how true this is and would like to know the answer; I have heard that Doberman's go crazy and they have to be put down. I heard it's because their brains swell. Does anyone know if this is true?

I personally do not like Dobermans. I've always heard that they "turn" on people. I've never owned one. But, of course, I've heard the same thing about Pit Bulls & I have 3 of those. So I guess I really don't know.
