Hybreds are the best (two pure breads of different breeds getting together to make pups) They are more healthy than pure breads because they're not in-bread.

A mutt!! my dog is a malamute/rot wilier/ boxer. He's like a giant mush dog but still very watchful. Pure breeds have certain flaws that can be so dramatized it gets to be annoying,, but there are a lot of good ones out there

Retrievers, no contest.Pugs are cool too though.I've had both. The retriever lived till he was 18!The Pug is still a dumbassBull Mastifs are also really mellowHuge, but have a very mild tempermentbut very protective of owners, and not at all aggressive to strangers.i see alot of people say german sheppard. They're great too, if you like to run. They need alot of exercise and are an outdoor dog. If not, they'll find a way out and run forever.

Everyone is going to give you a different answer to your question.I think most dogs can be trained to be like that.I love australian shepherds. They are guard dogs, along with loving-they are kind but, leary of strangers. They are very loyal to their owners.
