A Greyhound. They are the most wonderful gentle dogs.My dog is an ex racing dog as are most greyhounds.People very kindly say how lucky he is to have found a good home but it is he who has given the most happiness. With his gentle nature we are able to have evenings with the Brownies and at special schools where we show a video of them racing followed by the re homing process. He visits a nursing home too. I know it is only a matter of time before I will have two !

I really love golden retrievers but if I was taking a dog(and I might when I retire) I would take a greyhound from one of the rescue homes as they are lovely and are unfairly dumped when their racing days are over.
