Maybe a whippet as we had those when we were kids. Or another Pharoah Hound. They are seriously mad characters and stunning to look at. The one we had went all the way to Crufts and won his class. Mind you, I wouldnt say no to being a terrier of some sort! Maybe a jack russell. Small and friendly characters.

A cocker spaniel. I own one and him and I are so alike! Either we're chilled out relaxing on the couch being lazy, or extremely hyper. We're both easily distracted(ADD!). And we have a deep need to be loved and needed constantly. They call cocker spaniels "velcro dogs." Well, I'm a velcro person!

A small breed first choice of mine would be a Pomeranian. They are smart, easy to train, lovable and wonderful companions. For a large breed, I would choose a Rottweiler. The intelligence level of these fine dogs is incredibly high. They are protective of their owner(s), also easily trained and a superior companion.

I would normally saw a Rottweiler as i have had the breed before and they are loyal, loving and great with kids (as long as they are well brought up and socialised) though for the last 2 years I have dreamed of getting a puggle, theyre small cute and with smaller accommodation and garden theyd be ideal.

Just between you and me, I'm coming back in my next life as my Maltese and she is going to be me. That way she can find out how it feels to be a slave to a darn dog. She sits on me, lays on me and barks at me when I don't do what she wants by reading her mind. She goes nuts if I try to groom her but acts like she adores it when the groomer does it. She will turn around and pee on the rug although she has only been back in the house for three minutes and only barked at the door one soft tiny woof. Yep, I want to be a Maltese.

Great Pyrenees!! They are awesome dogs for farms with livestock. They live in the pasture with the farm animals and protect them from predators, but they are gentle & sweet pets for the farmer, too, and they are excellent with little kids. I love my GP!!!

Cocker spaniels are the best family dog. They have a lovely temperament and never snap or bite. They are beautiful and very cute!Blue roan and tan is better than a solid colour because the solid colours can sometimes get very hyper and silly (in some cases solid colours have bitten) good luck if you're thinking of getting a dog!

I have a Black lab/German Shep. Mix. Shes pretty dominant black lab... Bursting full of energy, but not a mean bone in her body. she loves giving kisses and loves all the attention she can get.
