Maltese don't shed - they have hair not fur - my parents own one - he's an awesome dog, very personable and very easy to train - they're a toy bread though - very small

Poodles don't have fur, they have hair. Totally non-shedding dogs, but you do have to have their hair cut by groomers a few times a year.

there are lots..what size, temperment..etc...all animals leave hair, it's only a matter of how much? if hair is a problem check out the akc website.... I have dachshunds (weinerdogs9, but they are not to everyone's taste). be sure what you want.

Old English Sheepdogs don't shed, they lose hair once in a while, but very little, and usually in a clump, so it's easy to clean.

The Chinese Crested is a small hairless dog...actually it looks more like a large hairless rat, but if your into them...*shrugs. Hope this helps.

all dogs shed due to winter and summer coats.it depends on what size dog you want.i have owned labs and they a lot.i have also owned great danes and currently own english mastiffs and they both shed very little.i would say great danes shed the least of the dogs i have owned.

I have two yorkies...they dont "shed" like a normal dog. They have hair instead of fur so they loose hair in small amounts like you and I do. You will not be disappointed with a Yorkie..and I betcha cant have just one!!

There's the American Hairless Terrier, too.. Its really just a variation of the Rat Terrier. It actually pretty cute. Alot more attractive than the Chinese Crested, but gets a lot less attention for some reason... lol

My brother has a shiht-poo (shihtzu/poodle mix) He is VERY allergic to animal dander and this was the only dog he could get that was hypo-allergenic. Plus they kinda look like wookies.
