personally i love labradors and staffordshire bull terriers as they are both friendly and have a gentle temprament and are great with children!

It all depends on what you want the dog for. Sometimes just plain mutts are the best.

German Shepherd, Golden Retriever or Lab.. but youd have to walk them regularly. theyre very loyal, loving and intelligent. =]
