Default Which dog breed do you prefer?

I have a Husky mix, but she sure looks like a Husky....looks and personality. From my experience, I feel that the Husky is the sweetest and gentlest dog breed. They just absolutely adore people and other animals. She even loves my kitten!I'm wondering which dog breed is your favorite and why? I also want to know which breed is excellent with people, children, and animals? And also, which breed is the least destructive when left alone for long periods of time....and which is the least vocal? Also, I feel like my Husky is pretty much a mute, lol.My favorites are:HuskyGolden retrieverLabCorgiBeagleOh yeah don't let me forget the Jack Russell Terrier and the Samoyed. They're so white and fluffy!!! lol My other favorite snow doggie.Okay I have no idea why this question is in the cats section when I put it for dogs, lol.

I love Labs. They're intelligent and fun to play with and generally like a lot of attention. They're also good with children.

I have a pure breed Alaskan Husky and a Malamute Shepard mix, I love the furry ones.Other then the black labs being a little on the wild side i have not herd anything about labs or retrievers. As for the least destructive and least vocal alot of it just depends on how they are raised! Good Luck

I have a black lab/German Sheppard mix and she is absolutely wonderful. She is so loving and gentle like the lab...but really smart and super protective like the German sheppard. She is the perfect mix.

I have had Labs and Golden Retrievers and they are both very good dogs, easy to train, very gentle with kids but still protective, or at least mine were. Just remember that Golden Retrievers can leave alot of hair behind at times.

Well mutts are my favorite and research shows that mutts tend to be healthier and live longer. I had a mutt and he died at ageof 15. But if you want a purebreed i think that a Collie, German Sheperd, or Golden retrevier these dogs tend to be healthier and can live up to the age of 15. But in the end its up to you!
