breed of ape? other animals like the cats, lions and panthers are of the same family right? i just thought, if scientist says that we are also ape, maybe we are just another breed of ape.

We are both primates, sharing similar characteristics; but we are not another breed of ape. We are the species homo sapiens.

you're right, we all belong to the same family called primates.But just as the Mountain Lion would give no damn about the tawny cat, so do humans don't consider apes as equals as we are evolved in intelligence

Actually, many scientists threw the ape-to-human theory out the window.

I think we might be in the same "family" but I do not believe that humans evolved from apes any more than blue whales evolved from dolphins.
