My favorite breed by far are standard poodles. My mom has 2 and they are fantastic!
My huskies are pulling a very close second

Irish Terrier
I have owned 7 dogs in my lifetime, 5 of them I own now. see my signature for their breeds. I've had 3 terrier mixes, and my Sister owns an adorable, funny little Westie. I also have 2 Dachshunds, which, in my opinion should be classed as terriers as well... They were bred for the same purpose as terriers, but were mistakenly called Hounds when they were imported to GB, and it's stuck.
I rescue, so am unlikly to ever own my fav. breed, as they're rare here, but I do have one dog, who's likely mixed with one... the Irish Terrier. They are an extremely versitile breed, they're also destructive, energetic, good watch dogs, loyal to a fault, mid sized, athletic, intelligent, extremely brave, opinionated, stubborn, known to be dog aggressive, and low shedding... they are also the most amazing colour, and have one of the easiest coats to strip of any of the wire haired terriers.
Irish Terriers are not for everyone, but they might be just enough dog for me!

I love my fiance's German Shepherds, they're definitely up there along with Australian Shepherds....but the best in my opinion are Spitz type dogs...
I have an Akita and a Siberian Husky...and I love them both to death. All Spitz types, the Samoyed and Alaskan Malamute are just so majestic and elegant. I love watching them lick their paws after their meal, just like a cat! There's just something ethereal about them, they're definitely the top in my book

I love the Siberian Husky's high energy and cuteness. We walk everyday because of my dog's energy.
Plus Huskies look like wolves.

Yes, Porter tried to sit on my chest last night while I tried to sleep. I ended up putting him downstairs in the living room.

I love yorkies, beagles, and pittbulls
yorkies are so cute and intelligent, the only lil draw back is they are snappish and they bark alot, but since they're easy to train, you can get them out of these habits.
beagles cause i love their floppy ears, and they're extremely active dogs
pittbulls because they are very very sweet beautiful animals. Unfortunately society has given them bad reputations, but i have learned that Pitts are really loyal and loving if trained properly

Mine would be German Shepherds, I've never owned a full blooded one but the dog I have now is part and she is the best dog ever, the shedding is bad but thats something we can deal with for such a loyal dog.
I hate to say I have one of them children who started out being mean to animals every time we turned our back but even when she pulled our Ellie's tail and grabbed her ears she never once snapped at her. I'm happy to say she is no longer that mean girl lol, and her and Ellie are best friends now..
I also think Husky's are a very beautiful breed, I have never had one myself but just thought I'd throw in there that they are beautiful.
