My passion is for the Great Dane, but I love the mastiff breeds in general. My next dog will be a Dogue de Bordeaux.

Are you sure you don't want a saint bernard?

Oh I think they're wonderful, but I couldn't cope with the hair, the dog smell...Luke sheds enough when he sheds as it is...I can't even imagine the thought of a Saint.

Most people that can't stand all of the hair get the short haired saint bernard. And those are closer to what the saint bernard actually looked like than what the rough coats look like now. Our favorite saint bernard was a short-haired one. She was just wonderful.

Can I have MUTTS as my favorite? I really like the bully breeds, but I really love "Heinz 57".

Absolutely.
Any dog, whether it be a pure bred or a Heinz 57, as long as they are loved and well taken care of, can be a "favourite breed".
My first two dogs were Heinz 57's, and loved them with all heart.

We most certainly love our mutts too. Designer breeds are deplorable, but mutts are awesome.

I did catch the sarcasm in your post. I was just adding on that I think every dog should be loved for who they are, not for the "status" that they bring.
Sorry for any confusion.

Leonberger
I have 2 favourite breeds
1. Leonberger - is looks like a lion, it's a german breed, big sized dog with a harmonious look and elegant movements, with a brawny body
It is a lively, intelligent, well-balanced and peaceful dog.
2. Corb Shepherd - Is a little known outside the Romania. Corb means raven ... and the name comes from its fur - which is whole intense black. It'a big sized dog, but not at all heavy, beautiful, with a imposing look

Oh, saint bernards is a very close second. If Kangals weren't such wanderers that can scale 6 foot fences and roam the whole block, I would have a few.

Or maybe you already have one, and it's disguised as a Great Pyrenees, named Porter!!

Personally I like the bigger breeds, I have a lab/German Shepard mix and another mixed pup that I am not sure what it is.
