A few weeks ago we adopted two unrelated 1 year old redbone females from the Humane Society. One was a stray and the other was removed from its owner. They have warmed up to us and each other and seem very well adjusted. They are house trained, are ok with crating when we are gone and at night, and we are going to start obedience training soon (we have accomplished "sit" so far). They are typical hounds- sniffing, baying, active- and we give them lots of exercise (they exercise each other alot in the fenced in yard). Any other redbone owners out there? Any perculiarities we need to know about? First time hound owner here.
