you can go to petfinder.com thats how i got my dog.

You can look in the newspaper and look in their listings to see if they have any dogs avaliable. This is how I got my dog and I don't know what my life would be without him!

Newspapers Classifieds, Mom and Pop pet stores( like the person said above they are most likely from puppymills,big no-no).Places Like Petco and Petsmart but they usually are just dogs from the local shelter. If you are not willing to pay the Adoption "fee" that usually includes the dog being spade or neutered and up to date on their shots which will cost you the same or if not more if you adopt off the street then you would be to irresponsible to own a pet.
