I recently posted a question regarding the jack russell/min pin mix I intend to create in the near future. In it I clearly specified that I will allow only ONE litter and I can personally guarantee that each new dog will have a secure home in my family, where they will not be bred. No one getting a dog would have gotten one otherwise. They only want a dog because it is a product of my two little sweeties. I am depriving no shelter dog of a home. I specified that they will not be put in a show ring or be given to anyone I don't know. I am positive that none of them nor their descendants will end up in a shelter. I made all of these things clear in the process of asking my question, yet I still received a slew of criticism from people who apparently neglected to read my question in it's entirety. Less than ½ even answered my actual question. If anyone has a logical reason why I shouldn't breed my dogs please feel free to im or email me I am open minded and would love to hear it.Haha mushroompumpkin can't even spell "vegetarian." She's been sending me retarded messages and getting pissed it's amusing.Pntup~ I mentioned the show ring because last time I got a lot of people informing me that no dog should be bred if it can't be shown, so I wanted to clarify that my intention is not to breed show dogs. As for the shelter, for the love of God read the question. I'm not giving puppies to anyone who was considering adopting a shelter dog.Omg like mushroompumpkin has any room to criticize trunka t. Open minded, that's a laugh! You seem to not realize that people are not against breeding, they are against irresponsible and unethical breeding. There's a HUGE difference! I have never heard of people against dog breeding, unless you are trying to mate a human with a dog and I can understand why many people would be against that. People have been breeding dogs and animals for thousands of years. Maybe a lot of people think people should let the dog have sex with whatever dog that they want. As long as you know what your doing, then go for it.

You can never guarentee what will happen in the future. Why would you want to indiscrimintly breed to different breeds and as far as the "show ring" thing that wouldn't happen anyway...they would be mutts. A good reason not to? How about the millions in shelters that we put to sleep as a nation. You wouldn't be depriving a shelter dog??? You could be encouraging family to adopt. By not spaying/nuetering you are increasing the chances of your "sweeties" getting cancer in the future. Breeders are out there to study decendant lines from years before to breed out falts like allergies, cancer, aggression, glaucoma etc. just to have people like you make mutts because you think they would be "cute" Need anymore reasons?

I think if you have homes for them and they will be looked after then who cares what anybody else thinks if they both have a good temperament that's fine most people are against because they watch the news to often about 1/2 breed dogs attacking people or maybe they just like to whinge. Maybe if people didn't dump dogs there would be no need for shelter's no one person is at fault..

OK, there's nothing wrong with breeding to better a breed. Any GOOD breeder will only breed health tested, proven dogs in conformation (ie the show ring) AND at work (it could be hunting/schutzhund/weight pull/etc). I bet you could type in the mix you want in petfinder and find it! So many dogs have great personalities, does that mean everybody should breed them for that reason alone?

If there weren't so many dogs there wouldn't be so many in the shelters. If somebody wants a dog urge them to adopt instead of buying or encouraging somebody to breed to different breeds together. Do you know how many PUPPIES die every day? THOUSANDS, and that's puppies alone!!
