Default When breeding dogs: Bring the male to the female? OR Female to the Male?

Yeah I plan on breeding my 2 year old maltese. If she goes in heat... Should I bring my dog to the male's house or bring the male dog here in the house?BTW to answer the "Responsibility talk".. I plan on giving the offsprings to very responsible people I know so please if possible... Spare me the responsibility as a breeder talk.

My mom is a breader and she has found over trial and error, that it is easier to have the stud, go to the females. The reason for that is because she is used to the enviorment. So there for it is a lot easier for pregnancy to occure. If she is comfortable in the surrounding. I hope this helped some.

The most common arrangement is female to male but that is mostly because the top popular studs have to do it that way because they may not have travel time between hopeful mates, and everyone imatates them.... Frequently it DOES work better the other way - take the temperments of the two in mind too- if one doens't travel well then thats the one that shouldn't travel.
