Over the past week her teats have swollen seems like more every day. They are very full looking now but she dosent seem to be waxing or leaking yet. I dont know her exact date to count a stray dog got onto our property while she was in heat :-( She is two years old and this is her first (and last!) litter. Please dont give lectures that she should have been spayed first, I know that. The other peoples dog shouldn't have been loose to come on our property either!She is an outside dog but is staying in the barn in a small room while we wait for the pups. I've given her blankets already and we check her several times a day to see if anything is happining yet. If she gets any bigger it's going to be a calf insted of pups! I know what to do for the birth and pups (but suggestions are still welcome) Just wondering if anyone could gander a guess at how much longer it will be sense she is swelling and so big! We want to be able to help her if she needs it.

Sounds very soon. Enlarged nipples and ditention of milk glands in the 6th week. Just continue to keep an eye out. This can be scary but she is a good age and it will probably go smoothly. Good luck to you.
