I have two dogs. I have a mixed breed medium-sized dog who is 9 years old and have never had any problems with her. we just got a 9 week old boston terrier and my allergies have been out of control since we got him. There have been weather changes around the same time, so perhaps it's just a coincidence, but I have noticed it more when I am at home with him. I realize this seems silly, but is it possible to be allergic to one dog and not the other, or is it just the weather?

i think it has something with their dander. some animals produce more than others. i live on a horse farm and there is one horse in particular that i can't saddle or brush b/c when i touch him i break out in hives. but i don't think it has to do with the breed i think it has to do with the animal
