Default I have two dogs: Dingo x Border Collie and Akita x English Setter. What breed...

...should I get? Suggestions? I have 2 female dogs: Mel is a Dingo x Border Collie and Jess is an Akita x English Setter. Mel is 5 years old and Jess is 3 years old. I've decided that I want another dog (purebred) but I want a puppy this time as I adopted Mel and Jess. Mel was 3 years old when I get her and Jess was 2 years old.Although adoption is very rewarding, I feel like getting a pup from a breeder but have NO IDEA what breed would be compatible with dominant crosses (DINGO and AKITA). My girls aren't dominant but Jess is a little reserved as she was phisically abused when she was a puppy. I've got a trainer helping me with her and it's going well. What breed do you think would suit me?Mel is very good with dogs but hates cats.Jess is reserved and submissive, hates cats and does OK with dogs.I want a large sized dog as Mel and Jess are both big girls, one that is active like my girls and will do best inside. Grooming and exercise is not a problem.I forgot to mention that I do not want: Beagle, Lab, GSD or Golden.

We have a Doberman with our Border Collie. Both are males, the Dobie is 3 1/2 & our BC is almost 2. When we first got Diesel (Dobie) we had a 3 yr old BC & Diesel never showed any dominance. Then when our first BC ran away, we got Matisse (BC) 2 yrs ago in July. Even though he is younger than Diesel, Diesel is still a follower. We also had him cut. Both our pooches are indoor dogs. Diesel is by far the most loyal dog I have ever owned. He loves to play frisbee & fetch. We also have 2 cats & half the time they are both curled up with him in his bed. And he would be absolutly lost without Matisse next to him. We have a 6mth old little girl that he just adores & loves to lick. I will always endorse a Doberman now, as well as a Border Collie...my two sure keep my life interesting!
