Default Dogs: does the Leonberger breed shed, or do you have to trim them?

Leos, being a large dog, can cover your house with a lot more fur than a small dog. Keep that in mind when deciding on a Leo. Their fur can jam your vacuum cleaner, many times over! For more info: http://www.leonbergerclubofamerica.com/breedinfo.aspx

leonbergers do shed and as they are bigger dogs there will be a lot more hair left on your carpet and furniture but you shouldn't clip this breed of dog as it ruins the dogs look
