Pressa Canario (not sure of the exact spelling)They resemble bulldogs and pit bulls but are much bigger and stronger. Try googling it and it should correct the spelling.

These are very aggressive dogs. If you have children or other pets you should not get one. Also check your local laws and restrictions regarding aggressive dogs. If it is liiegal to own a pitbull where you live, It will be illegal to own one of these too.

Not really true. As with any other breed when raised correct these make fine animals. Definitely not for an inexperienced owner, and takes a strong leader, but are not a no-no for children as long as you fit the description of a good owner.
