Maybe because Australian cattle dog begins with an "A".

I don't know, unless they break down the various types of ACD's into separate classifications. Still, when you check the offical site, blues, reds, and Queenslands, among others, all fall under the category of ACD. I'm curious now too.

Because the Blue Heeler and the Australian Cattle Dog are two seperate breeds.
