My dog had the same disease. The vet told us that our options were to remove 3 of his ribs which may extend his life a year or so, or we could do nothing and he would have about 3 months to live. Radiation was never an option...However. I found a diet on line and we tried it. (it does get a bit expensive/but isn't he worth it) He was fed raw meat (steak and broccoli and other veggies and a mixture of vitamins). He lived 2 more years and died of old age the vet said...NOT the disease. E-mail me and I will get you the complete diet if you are interested. My fiance still has it somewhere.mindyjordan@cox.net
