I was in a pet store today just looking around and saw the cutest pup ever! When I asked the worker about it they said it was a dachshund/something that I don't remember mix. It was called a Shorty. Does anybody know where I could find pics of this breed?I made sure to find out if that was the name of the breed or just the pups name. BTW I know not to buy from those stores. I have a Doxie right now that we rescued and he has been the BEST dog ever! He's my best friend.

I own a shorty Russell terrier.. technically it's a jack russell terrier but the breed has been separated in two... the Parson Russell terrier is the longer legged version and the Russell terrier is the short legged version.. aka Shorty russells.

it was probably a nick name for the breed or something like winner dog and min pin

This is super late, but I figure in case anyone else happened to ask and found this page it could have an answer. I believe the mix is a dachshund/pug, also referred to as a "daug".
