What typed of dog breed should i get?
The dog needs to get along well with other dogs. Doesn't matter in size. Needs to have short hair that really doesn't need any grooming. Has to be the kind of dog that you can leave out food in a container and the dog can eat it whenever it wants to. Plus i need a picture of the breed please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I could list any particular breeds except for everything with a short coat. The feeding depends on the dog itself. I personally wouldn't let a dog free feed as you can't regulate how much it eats, and it's hard to tell if somethings wrong (many change eating habits). Many dogs of all breeds love other dogs, while many of all breeds hate them. I would steer you away from terriers and guard breeds. Other than that I would need more info.

Check out the American Kennels Club's website. They have a survey you fill out that will help you find the right breed to get.www.akc.org

Sounds like you are going to get a dog and leave it home alone a lot, you don't want to groom it, and you certainly don't care when it eats. Buy a battery operated robot dog. You will both be happy.

Try looking up things about a Beagle. They are small dogs that should be left indoors since they enjoy wandering and escaping. Some get lonely, though. They are short haired cuties! I couldn't add a picture, but if you go on yahoo images and type in Beagle I'm sure you will think they are cute. Good Luck!

A no mess, no fuss dog!?!? My suggestion is not to get one. Try a hamster. They don't eat a lot, don't need to be groomed, only need their cage cleaned once or twice a week, and don't get into food that is left out (unless they escape from their cage).

BEAGLE!!!! I have a beagle and we just let him eat whenever he wants to! He is short haired and loves to play with other dogs! Seems to me you need a beagle in the family! To find a picture on the internet just type in beagles and you'll find a ton of information! Good Luck finding a dog!
