I'm looking for a companion for my female Yorkie. I don't mean mate but more like a playmate. I'm not sure which breed of dog will get along well with Yorkies. She's mild tempered, sweet and only 7 lbs. So I need another dog that's either a toy breed or very small. As a pup she grew up with a 45 lb. mild tempered dog.

Why not another yorkie? I have 2 and they are the best of friends.

My Grandmother breed both Yorkies and Shetzus. You might think about the energy that the dogs each have when picking a breed.
