If you don't believe in evolution, shouldn't you also not believe in dog breeding? It's basically the same concept. It's just that people force the naturally selective pressures much more quickly. If we can turn a wild wolf into a shi tzu in a couple thousand years, why is it so hard to believe that an ape-like ancestor can turn into a human in a few MILLION years?Jeff, that is a non sequitur. Over the course of millions of years, enough actual genes are changed to make it impossible for a human and an ape to reproduce to make viable young. Dog breeding is used to demonstrate that selective pressures can radically change an organism's appearance and behavior but only time can change the genes enough to make them unable to reproduce.
