As far as I know it is the Great Dane. They can be as tall as 6 ft or more standing on there hind legs. You can get them anywhere. Just look in your local newspaper classifides.
Irish Wolfhound is the tallest, then there are a number of heavy breeds Tosas get up to 200lbs and Boerboels can too (mine's sire was 179lbs lean), so do a number of other breeds like English Mastiffs. So it depends what you mean by largest, the tallest or the heaviest or do you mean the breed thats the tallest and heaviest? As Wolfhounds should max out around 150lbs.
The Old English Mastiff 160-230 lbs for males 120-190 for females The great dane and Irish wolfhound are taller but the mastiffs overall size is larger
